All Genoa Middle School students were invited to participate in a school-wide chess tournament which took place on Thursday, April 3. The competition was fierce, but in the end eighth grade student Ben Clark emerged victorious. He will represent the building in the Middle School Chess Tournament in May. Placing second was sixth grader Andrew Lin. Eighth grade student Tyler Lenoy came in third.
