Westerville Lacrosse is hosting a free Beginning Lacrosse Clinic for girls on Saturday, February 8, in the Westerville North High School Auxiliary Gymnasium. North is located at 950 County Line Road. Registration will take place from 12:30-1:00 p.m., and the actual clinic will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Girls in grades 1-8 are invited to attend. Coaches and players from Westerville Central, North and South high schools will teach basic lacrosse skills. No equipment is needed, but those who have lacrosse sticks are asked to bring them. Parents are welcome to stay and learn a little about the sport, and ask questions about the upcoming spring season.
