Westerville Schools Receives Grant for Installing Security Locks

Westerville City Schools will receive $72,179.98 from the Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) as part of its School Security Grant Program, for having installed new security locks throughout the district.  The grant will cover the cost of the new locks. 

House Bill 59 authorized the OFSC to administer the program.  Public schools were eligible to be reimbursed for security expenditures including costs incurred with the purchase of security entrance systems consisting of a camera, an intercom and remote access.
