Westerville City Schools has earned a clean audit report from the State of Ohio for the fiscal year ended on June 30, 2013.  This means that the district’s financial audit did not contain findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, Single Audit findings or any questioned costs.

This was an exceptionally good audit for the district that reflects the sound financial practices and policies that are in place, according to Treasurer/CFO Bart Griffith.  He credits this accomplishment to the hard work of employees in the Treasurer’s office, as well as all of the district staff who handle money on a day-to-day basis, including Food Service personnel, secretaries, teachers, administrators, and athletic departments.   “It truly is a team effort,” he said.
