Keeping the needs of others in mind, the Genoa Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society decided to collect cereal boxes for the Westerville Area Resource Ministry. To encourage donations, Principal Carrie Trusley and Assistant Principal Rodney Johnson agreed to sing a festive song on the Jaguar Update, a daily news program produced by pupils. Students and staff ended up shattering the 500-box goal by donating a whopping 600 boxes of cereal.
