On Sunday, December 8, children young and old were greeted by smiling faces and holiday cheer from the Westerville City Schools Transportation Services team. The group participated in the annual Westerville Sertoma Children’s Christmas Parade, which took place right through the heart of Westerville on State Street. Transportation staff and their families volunteered their time to brave the elements, decorate a school bus, and enjoy the festivities. The Christmas Parade has become a beloved tradition for the drivers, who accept donations for the purchase of candy, which is passed out along the route. The team enjoyed seeing and greeting many of the students whom they transport each day.
