The Board of Education of the Westerville City School District will be holding two separate public auctions for two properties owned by the Board and located at (1) 135 E. Walnut Street (tax parcel number 080-000668) and (2) 145 E. Walnut Street (tax parcel number 080-000640), in the City of Westerville, Franklin County, Ohio. Each parcel of real estate to be auctioned includes the permanent improvements located on the Board-owned land.
The auctions will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 (with registration beginning at 10:00 a.m.) and will be conducted at the District’s adjacent transportation facility, 125 E. Walnut Street, Westerville, Ohio.
The requested opening bid amount for the 135 E. Walnut property will be $161,600, and the requested opening bid amount for the 145 E. Walnut property will be $112,000.
Prospective bidders may visually inspect the land and the building and other improvements by appointment with the District’s Executive Director of Business Operations, Jeff LeRose.
