Wizard of Oz to be Performed at Westerville Central High School August 2 – 4

Westerville Parks and Recreation, in association with Otterbein University, will present The Wizard of Oz on Friday, August 2 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 3 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday August 4 at 2:00 p.m.  The performances will take place in the Westerville Central High School auditorium, which is located at 7118 Mt. Royal Avenue. 

Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased in advance at the Westerville Community Center (350 N. Cleveland Avenue), Highlands Park Aquatic Center (245 S. Spring Road), and the Westerville Senior Center (310 W. Main Street).  Tickets can also be purchased at the door.  Box Office opens one hour prior to curtain.

Having felt betrayed by her loved ones, young Dorothy leaves home for a place over the rainbow.  When a looming storm knocks Dorothy unconscious, she is transported to the magical world of Oz.  There she meets a colorful cast of seemingly familiar faces who help Dorothy rediscover the true meaning of home.
