The Westerville Education Foundation held its fifth annual Mini-Golf Fundraiser on May 18 at the Westerville Mini-Golf and Batting Cages, 450 W. Schrock Road.  In addition to family fun on the venue's two miniature golf courses, the event featured food, music, entertainment, and prizes such as Columbus Clippers tickets, family passes to Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo, and an overnight accommodation at the Hampton Inn & Suites.  Every participant also received a “goody bag” with contents valued at more than the cost to register.  Nationwide Children’s Hospital Westerville Close to Home Center returned as the event’s presenting sponsor, and the Jersey Mike’s Subs at 5957 Sunbury Rd. returned as the hole-in-one contest sponsor.

Founded in 1993, the Westerville Education Foundation is a volunteer, non-profit organization that awards grants to Westerville City School District teachers to support creative initiatives and projects in the classroom.  Grants are also available to other district employees to support innovative activities and programming.
