550 students from 80 schools participated in the State History Day competition on April 27 at the Ohio Union on the campus of The Ohio State University. Genoa Middle School pupil Madison Seabury received Honorable Mention in the Junior Individual Website category for her project, “The Little Rock Nine: A Turning Point for Educational Equality.” She ended the competition with a fourth place ranking in the entire state of Ohio.
