The first meeting of the Attendance Boundary Realignment Committee is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, in the Westerville City School District (WCSD) Early Learning Center, 936 Eastwind Dr., Westerville, Ohio. The meeting will be held in the second floor Board Conference Room.

The committee has been charged with developing and presenting to the Board of Education attendance boundary options for each elementary school within the WCSD.  The committee’s work will be guided by parent and community input gathered via open houses, parent organization meetings, e-mails, and online surveys. Attendance Boundary Realignment Committee meetings are open to the public for those wishing to attend and observe committee proceedings.

Two upcoming Community Open Houses will allow attendees to review and share feedback on the options. Open Houses are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on February 14, in the Huber Ridge Elementary library, located at 5757 Buenos Aires Blvd., and from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on February 19, at Alcott Elementary, 7117 Mt Royal Ave.  Attendance Boundary Realignment Committee meetings will immediately follow the conclusion of each Open House.

Options will also be shared during the month of February at each school’s PTA/PTO meetings, with feedback forms available to those interested in providing comments. As options are presented, they will also be posted to the district’s website, and an electronic means to submit comments using the feedback form. Public comments can also be sent to wcsba@wcsoh.org
