Genoa’s Jack Funderburg Finishes Golf Season in Style

Jack Funderburg, an eighth grader at Genoa Middle School, was the individual medalist at the Pickerington Invitational Golf Tournament on October 6. He shot a 76 on the par 72 Pine Hill course in Carroll, Ohio, propelling the Genoa golf team to a second place finish behind Worthington. Funderburg finished his career at Genoa by setting a new school record for season average with a 38.65 for nine holes.
