Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney ended up campaigning in the gymnasium at Westerville South High School on Wednesday morning, September 26, after plans to speak at an outdoor venue were quashed due to inclement weather. An enthusiastic packed house was on hand to hear Romney, along with golf great Jack Nicklaus, U.S. Representative Pat Tiberi, U.S. Senator Robb Portman, State Representative Anne Gonzales, Ohio Governor John Kasich, Franklin County Auditor Clarence Mingo and Westerville Mayor Kathy Cocuzzi. The crowd and dignitaries were welcomed by Westerville South Principal Steve Andersson.
