Genoa Golfers Win Mount Vernon Invitational

The Genoa Middle School Jaguar golf team competed in the Mount Vernon Invitational at Hiawatha Golf Course on Saturday, September 15, and came away with a victory by scoring 378 and beating 10 other teams. Jack Funderburg shot an 82 and finished as the runner-up medalist at the outing. Nick Neville shot a 91, the fourth best score. Conor Davis carded a 97; Gage Minney a 108; and Brandon Zachman a 109. The team is coached by Matthew Yingling.
