The fifth grade team at Whittier Elementary is giving back through Signature Acts of Community Giving. After a visit from Cindy Hickey, co-founder of Miracle of Mom’s Memory (MoMM) Foundation, students began discussing ways of helping Central Ohio families during the holiday season. Pupils worked together to fill several “Gobble Gobble” turkey bags with personal care items such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, chap stick, etc. Delivery to family shelters took place on November 26, Thanksgiving Day. Students were thankful for the opportunity to give back.
