Pointview Elementary School hosted its third annual leadership day on May 3.  Guests from within the district, community partners, and Central Ohio school representatives got to see how the Pointview Panthers are leaders.  As Pointview is working towards becoming a “lighthouse” school in the Leader in Me program, the day was a culmination of all the leadership skills they have demonstrated throughout the year.  Visitors begin the day with breakfast donated generously from Bob Evans, after which they were welcomed to the gym by the cheer teams and grade level musical performances highlighting the 7 Habits.  They then chose classrooms to visit.  Activities highlighted during that time included leadership binders, student displays of the 7 Habits, integrated and direct 7 Habits lessons, and student conducted classroom tours.  After visiting three classes, guests were escorted to the exploration station for a walking tour of Pointview’s leadership teams this year.  Student presenters from each team shared tri-fold boards and answered questions. Lastly, visitors were welcomed back to the gym for a final Question and Answer Panel that included a teacher, students, and parents.
