Westerville City Schools employees make their way around the track at Westerville North High School for a 5k walk/run which was held on Saturday, November 9.
Approximately 200 Westerville City Schools employees gathered at Westerville North High School on Saturday, November 9, to celebrate the conclusion of a seven-week Employee Wellness training program. The culminating event was the walking or running of a 5k. The activity was sponsored by the district’s Wellness Committee. School employees worked hard in order to increase their health and well-being. As an added bonus, fit employees lower the district’s medical insurance costs. Participants also donated canned goods to the Westerville North’s National Honor Society, which is collecting food for the Westerville Area Resource Ministry.
