A large image of Pax, the Pointview Panther, appeared in the main hallway of Pointview Elementary School a few weeks back, along with mail slots where positive messages for staff members are being left.
Pointview Elementary School has a mystery on its hands. One morning a few weeks ago, a large image of Pax, the Pointview Panther, appeared in the main hallway of the building. Next to the picture was a series of slotted mailboxes. Inside were pieces of candy and positive messages of praise and encouragement for Pointview personnel. The panther even has an e-mail account, which he/she has been using to send uplifting messages. The stealthy creature seems to know everything that’s going on in the building, but his/her identity remains unknown, despite lots of speculation. Pax’s uncanny ability to move throughout the building without being detected is the talk of the school. Principal Jeannie Roth says even she does not know who is doing this, but she appreciates the resulting boost to morale.
