Long after the final bell of the day rings at Pointview Elementary, students can still be found in the building, lost in good books and excited to learn, thanks to a new After-School Reading Program, which began on August 21.  Pointview is partnering with the Westerville Public Library to offer pupils this free, extended learning opportunity, which consists of one hour of reading instruction in a small group, snacks, and special Fun Friday enrichment activities.  Young readers, who are brushing up on their essential skills, can also receive a Westerville library card.  The response from children, parents, teachers, and library personnel has been overwhelmingly positive.
