Walter and Rose enjoyed having their grandma, Sandee, at school.
On September 6, the McVay Elementary PTA hosted Goodies with GRANDS. This event joined youngsters with their grandparents and/or special grandfriends. More than 500 guests filled the building to spend time with their loved ones. Students and guests enjoyed breakfast in the gym and also made classroom visits. In the classrooms, the youngsters and their GRANDS worked on special activities prepared by McVay teachers. Organizers said many wonderful memories were made and all had a GRAND time!
