McVay Elementary School has been notified that it will receive a 2013 SOAR Award for High Progress from Battelle for Kids. This annual award is designed to acknowledge Ohio schools participating in SOAR for their high academic progress in multiple grade levels and subjects over the most recent school year (2012-2013). Representatives from McVay and the Westerville City School District, along with other recipients, will be honored at a reception at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Monday, November 11.
