Money was still being counted at press time, but if McVay Elementary students raised at least $9,000 during their walkathon on September 28, Principal Amy Miller will dye her hair green. All pupils participated in the event, walking on the path around their school and through McVay Woods. Funds raised will be used for playground and indoor recess equipment, field trips and technology.
