They certainly don’t look like first graders anymore, but students who used to be in the classrooms of retired teacher Jane Wonnell and current Annehurst 1st grade teachers Julie Pierron and Erica Layne have fond memories of Annehurst Elementary School. So fond, in fact, that they gathered at the school on April 21 to say farewell before each graduates from Westerville Central, North, or South High School. Of the 58 first graders, 32 have remained in the Westerville City School District. They were joined by their teachers and retired principal Howard Baum.
