Back to School News      Print News Article

Since its inception in 1993, the Westerville Education Foundation (WEF) has funded almost $200,000 in teacher grants across the Westerville City School System, and is now seeking to employ an Executive Director.  The Executive Director of the WEF will play a key role in advancing the Foundation’s mission, which is to broaden the minds of our students by bringing innovation to the classroom.  This role builds on the successful track record of the WEF by continuing to expand the educational opportunities for students and grow its network of strong partnerships.

The Executive Director will develop marketing campaigns, execute fundraising strategies and expand community partnerships to increase the visibility of the foundation and, ultimately, the funding of teacher grants across the district.  Successful candidates for this position will have a passion for broadening the minds of students, a proven track record of fundraising, well-established relationships in the community, and the ability to develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns.
