Please mark your calendar with these important dates:

Sept. 6 - No School - Labor Day

Sept. 23 - Early Release - Class will be dismissed one hour early.  Students will arrive at their bus stop one hour earlier than normal.

September 27 -  Picture Day -  Information will be sent home with students prior to picture day.

October 15 - No School - OEA/NEA Day

October 20 - Grade Cards available in the Parent Portal

October 20 - Parent-Teacher Conferences by appointment (evening)

October 21 - Parent-Teacher Conferences by appointment

October 22 - No School - Elementary and Middle School

Transportation Information

The transportation department assigns your bus stop, pick-up and drop-off times based on your home address.   Please check the Parent Portal frequently for updated bus information.   You can contact the Transportation Department at 614 797 5950.      

Safety First

CAR DROP-OFF  &  PICK-UP— Students can be dropped off as long as a Longfellow staff member is outside to greet them.  Cars may not park in the area marked for buses on Hiawatha Avenue in front of the Building.    The pick-up and drop-off area is in the parking lot at the orange traffic cone marked “student pick-up area”.   Be sure to follow the painted arrows.  A Longfellow Rocket Pick-Up card should be displayed on the dash of the car with the student's first and last name clearly printed.

 If you bring your child to school late and staff members are no longer on arrival duty, you will need to walk your student to the door and ring the doorbell.  A Longfellow staff member will assist you in signing your student in.

If your child is riding a bus to or from school be sure the bus tag is attached to the backpack.

PowerSchool Parent Portal

Returning Students: Parents and guardians of returning students already should have created a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access student information. Please contact your school office if you have forgotten your login information.

New Students: For families of students who are new to our district, you will receive a letter with information on how to create an account.    Please contact the school office with any questions about your Parent Portal account!

Student Medical and Consent Forms

Families can now complete or update their students’ Emergency Medical Information and Parental Consent Forms online!  Simply log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal for each student and click the “Forms” icon to the left.
