When second-grade students at Fouse Elementary attending the Westerville Virtual Academy realized they would not be exchanging Valentine’s Day cards in person this year, they wondered who they could show their love to in keeping with their classroom tradition.
They decided to send cards of thanks to first responders.
With financial support from Fouse’s PTO, the students created cards and their teacher, Amy Eyerman, mailed them to healthcare workers at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital.
