Fouse Business Day Inspires Young Entrepreneurs

On Monday, December 17, Fouse Elementary School fourth grade students participated in Business Day. Each pupil created and sold individual products to other fourth grade classmates. The children got the opportunity to experience being both producers and consumers. They learned about factors of production and the expenses involved in starting a business. At the end of the sales period, the young entrepreneurs calculated their profits. Play money was used by staff members and students to shop at all the stores.
