This grant would provide tools that use 21st century technology to target learning goals. Technology is changing our society at an accelerating rate and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of individual students is essential. We would use the $50,000 to purchase a combination of iPads and iTouches for each classroom. These devices are ideal for using with small groups as well as whole group instruction. In addition, due to the variety of applications (apps) available, instruction can be targeted to meet the needs of individual students. Because of the wide gap of academic levels in each class, teachers need these tools to improve student achievement.
