Hula hooping was just one of the fun activities offered during Alcott’s Walk-A-Thon.

Students at Alcott Elementary recently held their annual Walk-A-Thon to raise money for the Alcott PTA to support their school.  Pupils raised over $12,000 walking around the track at Westerville Central High School.  Each child received a t-shirt, thanks to a generous donation from Schirck Orthodontics.  Money collected will make it possible for the PTA to help support the school with such things as Chromebooks, library books, and much more.  Students were eligible for raffle prizes such as Columbus Crew tickets, a Skate Zone 71 birthday party, Westerville Mini Golf passes, and Columbus Zoo tickets.

Gratitude was expressed to the Alcott PTA and all of the event sponsors:  Shirck Orthodontics, Suzanne McConnaughey, Lori Wilson Disney Travel Specialist, Dragon E’s Black Belt Academy, Klein Heating & Cooling, Katie Lesmerises, The Academy Irish Dance Company, Sensational Sounds Unlimited, and Orangetheory Fitness.
