Alcott Elementary School’s library turned into a wax museum on May 21 when fourth grade students in the classrooms of Cheryl Ortlieb and Bob Talley took on the challenge of portraying their favorite historical character.  Each figure “came to life” before dozens of visitors, reciting details about their personal history and accomplishments.  The museum boasted a wide range of famous people including Princess Diana, Amelia Earhart, King Tut, Rosa Parks, Helen Keller, Knute Rockney, Babe Ruth, Johnny Appleseed, Joan of Arc, Thomas Edison, Oprah Winfrey and many others.
