The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is hosting a ‘Gen Z’ Virtual Career Fair on May 3 for Ohioans ages 16 to 28.

More than 48 employers throughout Ohio will be on hand for the virtual career fair to share openings for full-time, part-time, summer employment and internships.  The career fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during In-Demand Jobs Week, a statewide celebration of the jobs, industries, and skills that are in demand in Ohio.

Those interested can pre-register on the OhioMeansJobs.com website here, which will allow employers to view resumes in advance and schedule appointments to connect. Attendees can choose the part of the state they’d like to work in and connect with employers in that area.

Young job seekers in Ohio also may be eligible for the Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP). It can provide career coaching, job placement, tuition assistance, mentoring, financial assistance, transportation help and many other resources for those eligible. More information is available here.
