Molly Bussard, the registrar at Westerville Central High School, has been named the Westerville Educational Support Staff Association’s Staff Member of the Month for January.

WESSA President Sue Kaczor, Superintendent Dr. John Kellogg, WCHS Principal Dawn Sayre and WCHS staff surprised Brussard with the announcement on Thursday. Her nomination featured glowing praise from several staff members, including counselor Erica Guice:

“Molly is really the glue that holds this building together. She works really closely with the counselors, staff, and administrators in the building. She is oftentimes pulled in so many different directions throughout the day, but she takes it all in stride and is very efficient. One minute she is transcribing a transcript, the next minute she is working on a withdrawal, and the next minute she is helping us pull a report.”

“One of the big tasks Molly has is working on the master schedule. She spends hours building the schedule to ensure students are able to get the courses they need. She collaborates with admin, teachers, and counselors. Our schedule gets better and better each year. Oftentimes, when working in a place, you will hear things like, ‘This is not my job.’ Molly does what is best for the students and the building here at Westerville Central.”
