Westerville City Schools joined five other Franklin County districts in sponsoring a college event that helps students with IEPs and 504s explore their post-secondary options. Representatives from 18 colleges and universities throughout Ohio were on hand to help students and parents learn about services and accommodations offered at their respective institutions. Families also visited with disability services and other college representatives to discuss their unique needs in a college fair format.
The multi-district event rotates among Franklin County schools each year and is scheduled to be hosted in Westerville in fall 2023. Materials from the event can be found on the WCS Transition website and a recording of the event can be found here.
