Westerville Central Warhawk Theatre is bringing Roald Dahl's classic story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir to life with its December production of “Willy Wonka Jr.”

As part of their efforts, the theatre group will be delivering five Golden Tickets placed randomly in a stack of flyers to each elementary school. The tickets are good for a ticket to the show.

Following the performance, children can meet Willy Wonka — an interactive experience for families to enjoy heading into the holiday season.

Based on the 1971 film, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. The five-winning children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

Show dates and times include 7 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10; 2 p.m. Dec. 10 and 11.

All seats are $10 and will be reserved. Tickets are available on the Warhawks Theatre website: www.wchstheatre.net.
