The Kiwanis Club of Westerville recognized the top 10 graduates from Westerville Central, North and South high schools on Wednesday as part of its 60th annual Academic Varsity Awards.
The event marked a return to a combined ceremony; each school hosted individual ceremonies to maintain safety and physical distancing guidelines last year.
Dawn Stewart, vice president for Student Affairs and director of Athletics at Otterbein University, served as the guest speaker. Students honored at the event received a gift from the Westerville Board of Education, as well as a framed certificate and cake from the Kiwanis Club.
