Brittany Rojas, an English Learners paraprofessional at Westerville Central High School, has been named the Westerville Educational Support Staff Association’s Staff Member of the Month for March.
WESSA President Sue Kaczor, WCHS Principal Tom Lanier, and WCHS staff members surprised Rojas with the announcement on Wednesday. Her nomination featured glowing praise from several staff members at WCHS, including counselor Hannah Zoller:
“(Rojas) is a huge advocate for our EL students and also a safe and trusted adult for them. She started off as a success coach last year and then transitioned into her role as a para and Central could not be luckier for that transition to have happened. She contributes so much good to our building.”
