Westerville Central Warhawk Theatre’s production of “Shrek the Musical” kicks off Friday, March 18 with four performances through Sunday, March 20.
Westerville Central Warhawk Theatre Director Stephanie Matushoneck said the theme behind the musical is “what makes us special, makes us strong” — a message she said especially resonates with her theatre students.
“The show celebrates the differences in all of us,” she said.
Based on the DreamWorks Animation film, “Shrek the Musical” is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure where Shrek, a green ogre, and his sidekick Donkey save the land from an evil lord and rescue a lovely princess from a terrible fate.
Show dates and times include 7 p.m. March 18 and 19; 2 p.m. March 19 and 20. All seats are $10 and will be reserved. Tickets are available on the Warhawks Theatre website: www.wchstheatre.net.
