With the high school scheduling season approaching, students can start identifying the classes they’d like to take for the 2021-22 school year.

Although details for how the next school year will operate have yet to be determined, high school teams are asking students to make course requests by utilizing the full course catalog available at http://tiny.cc/WCSHSAPG. Students and families should generate requests in anticipation of attending high school in-person for the entire schedule.

“Our high school master schedules are built based on student requests, so your voice is essential to helping our high school teams develop a schedule that provides opportunities for you,” said Anne Baldwin, coordinator, Career Tech and College Readiness. “We encourage you to pursue a unique path that follows your interests and develops your skills so that you can pursue any option after graduation.”

New state graduation requirements are in place for the Class of 2023 and beyond. To learn more about the new requirements, the Career Tech and College Readiness office created a video that can be viewed here. High school faculty are providing students and families virtual opportunities to understand the requirements and to develop a graduation plan that will assist students in meeting their graduation goals. Visit your school’s Schoology page for more scheduling information.

Also, incoming high school freshmen and families will be able to meet their high school team, learn more about their schedule and ask questions at a virtual Future Night event at all high schools on March 3.

Details will be emailed to students and families.
