Johnson named Coach of the Year, several students recognized in OHSAA Division I All-Ohio teams

Bryan Johnson, head football coach at Westerville North High School, has been named Coach of the Year and several football players across the district’s three high schools have been named on the OHSAA Division I All-Ohio teams, according to an announcement by the Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association this week.

Peter Pedrozo, quarterback at Westerville South High School, was a finalist for the Ohio Mr. Football Award. Other students named on the Division I All-Ohio teams include:

  • Judah Holtzclaw, Westerville Central High School (First Team Offense)

  • Zeke Healy, WCHS (First Team Defense)

  • Will Jados, WCHS (Third Team Offense)

  • Brennan Albertini, WNHS (Third Team Defense)

  • Reuben Simiyu, WNHS (Honorable Mention)

  • Vince Francescone, WCHS (Honorable Mention)
