Westerville City School’s Class of 2023 can now explore their career center options virtually.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, career centers are not hosting campus visits this year.

Instead, students and families can explore programs at Columbus City School’s career centers — Columbus Downtown High School and Fort Hayes Career Center — and Delaware Area Career Center through a virtual guide provided by WCSD’s Career Tech & College Readiness office.

The document includes an overview video on how students can add hands-on electives to their course schedule next year as well as links to orientation videos about each career center, virtual campus tours, program guides and applications. Students who complete an exit ticket by Dec. 15 sharing what they’ve learned about the career centers will be eligible for a gift card raffle.

Students can connect with their school counselor with any questions about their career center options.
