Westerville fireman Victor Dulaney observes as students practice mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
In partnership with the Westerville Division of Fire, the Westerville City Schools Health & Safety Services department offered staff the opportunity to become certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on Friday, October 17 – Central OEA/NEA Day. Twenty-four employees paid $25 each to participate in the program, which was first offered during the 2004-2005 school year. To date, more than 1,000 individuals in the Westerville City School District have earned CPR certification through this life-saving class.
