Westerville Central Science Olympiad Team Excels at Central Ohio Science Olympiad

The Westerville Central High School Science Olympiad Team, coached by Minnie Herrick and Phil Crank, competed March 16 in the Central Ohio Science Olympiad, which was held at Grandview High School.  The event tested students in 23 different areas of scientific study.  A number of Central students walked away with honors.  They are:

•    Kevin Adik – 4th place in Anatomy and Physiology and 7th place in Compound Machines
•    Wes Bumpus – 2nd place in Elasted Launch Glider
•    Priscilla Doh – 4th place in Geological Mapping
•    Rachel Eulberg—7th place in Water Quality
•    Ashonti Harper – 3rd place in Technical Problem Solving and 4th place in Bungee Drop
•    Hope Garman – 7th place in Water Quality and 4th place in Bungee Drop
•    Amy Adik – 4th place in Geological Mapping
•    Tobi Obajobi-Richard – 4th place in Anatomy and Physiology 
•    Reshma Patel – 7th place in Designer Genes
•    Luis Sandoval – 7th place in Designer Genes and 3rd place in Technical Problem Solving
•    Linh Tran – 7th place in Compound Machines
