Jazz Central, a singing group conducted by Westerville Central High School music teacher Laura Fahning, visited the home of school board member Cindy Crowe on Friday afternoon, December 13.  The young musicians sang Christmas carols to spread some joy and wish Mrs. Crowe and her family a happy holiday season.

Crowe, a 13-year veteran of the Westerville City Schools Board of Education, has devoted her life to public education as a teacher, volunteer, fundraiser, school board member and legislative advocate.  Despite being diagnosed earlier this year with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease), she continues to serve the schools and community and has worked tirelessly to raise funds for research to fight the disease and has participated in clinical trials to further that research.
