Blendon Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society raised more than $400 for the Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation during the school’s Spirit Week last month.

The school’s NJHS organized themes for each day during Spirit Week, including one where students dressed like teachers and teachers dressed like students.

The week culminated with the Faith Pruden Pajama Day where students donated money to wear pajamas to school.

Named in honor of a Westerville student who passed away in 2010 from brain cancer at age 7, the foundation raises awareness of childhood cancer, provides financial and emotional support to oncology patients and their families at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and awards scholarships to students in Central Ohio.
