A lot of famous historical characters could be found at the Blendon Middle School Biography Wax Museum, held in the library on Monday afternoon, November 17.  The event was hosted by sixth grade students in the fifth period enriched Language Arts class, under the direction of “museum curator” Stephanie Sahr.  Pupils picked historical characters to portray.  They dressed in costume and “came to life” for visitors who were invited to “prepare to be amazed” as they were regaled with short tales about the positive and lasting significance of their lives.  Admission was free, but attendees were asked to bring their “curiosity and hunger for learning something new.”  The wide variety of characters included the likes of J.R.R. Tolkien, Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, Douglas MacArthur, Steve Jobs, P.T. Barnum, Albert Einstein, Jackie Robinson and Muhammad Ali.
