The Blendon Chess Club held a building-wide logo contest for a creative design for use on new t-shirts and other items. Congratulations to 8th grader Jack Williams, whose logo earned the top vote from the chess club members.
With support from Blendon Art Teacher Bradley Blankenship and the Gifted Education department, Williams’ design gave a face to a chess club that has grown in numbers each year.
Like each of the Westerville Middle School chess clubs, the team looks forward to the District Tournament on May 17.
