Working Trebuchet and ballista models, military strategy maps, and cultural comparisons of medieval military artifacts were just a few of the items shared recently by four seventh graders at Blendon Middle School. As part of enrichment projects in the Advanced Social Studies class taught by Charles Cattrell, Christopher Heermann, Austin Ebbrecht, T. Henry Clareson, and Ben Merkey completed in-depth independent studies. They then presented their findings and products to several classrooms, teachers, and parents.  The middle ages were brought to life through the students’ sharing of research in creative and multi-dimensional means.
