The Food Web Claymation video that was recently created by Hanby Elementary School students has attracted the attention of Otterbein College’s WOCC-TV3.  Otterbein wants to film pupils and get their perspective on the process for a new series being produced called, School’s Out, in which non-traditional academic endeavors are explored through a child’s perspective.  In each 30-minute show, three topics will be shared, each about 10 minutes in length.  Several children have been selected to visit the WOCC studio on February 21 to participate in the making of this program.

Math/Science students in Angie Heath’s fifth grade gifted class at Hanby produced the three-minute 2-D Clay Animation film with the help of parent volunteers Tracy and Robert Robbins, art instructors at the Columbus College of Art & Design.  Heath called the experience an “incredible learning opportunity.”
