Fouse Elementary School kicked off spring with a fun Math Night on Thursday evening, April 10, for students in grades 1-4.  Teachers set up tables with multiple games using dice, cards, and computation activities.  Activity packets were distributed for each family to use at home during summer months.   The highlight of the night was the “Ringing Bell,” with 12 door prizes awarded for winning students.  Eight estimation jars were used for number sense activities for students and a separate table for adults was also set up so parents could join in the fun for gift card prizes.  More than 130 families participated in this event.
