For the fifth year, the Lords and Ladies of the Emerson Reading Hall of Fame gathered for a Reading Round Table luncheon. On May 20, 95 students where hosted by The Old Bag of Nails to honor their accomplishment. Students who received an invitation achieved a minimum of 100 AR points for the school year or met their individual reading goals. This year's high scorers were 5th grader Cooper Crawford (505 points), 4th grader Catherine Adams (604.2 points) and 5th grader Hannah Moore (708.8 points). Emerson Principal Vicki Jarrell thanked the Old Bag of Nails for helping to make this celebration possible.
